Taipei International Convention Center (TICC)

Located on Xinyi Road, the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) is a world-class building for holding important conferences. It shares a site with the International Trade Tower, the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), and the Grand Hyatt Taipei. Being part of the business centers, TICC has held many important international meetings and conferences such as the World Congress on Information Technology, Kiwanis Around the World, Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technology (APRICOT), GLOBECOM, etc. The center not only is a landmark of Taipei, but also has significant contributions to the world.

TICC is a six-floor building of forty-nine meters tall, and has a total area of fourteen thousand and seven hundred twenty seven square meters. The building has two parking lots on B1 and B2; all upper floors are designed for exhibitions and conferences with well-equipped facilities. Its eleven-meter tall lobby features a statue made of stainless steel at the entrance named “All for the Public”; it is created by a famous Chinese artist Yuyu Yang.

TICC has a multi-purpose plenary hall which can accommodate three thousand and one hundred people, a huge banquet hall which has a capacity of one thousand people, twenty-one spacious meeting rooms, and numerous elegant restaurants. All these rooms are well-equipped with the latest technology in audio, visual, and communications equipment. Furthermore, TICC has hired professionals to ensure successful meetings.

Besides the TICC, there are some must-see attractions in Hsin-Yi (Xinyi) district, including Taipei 101, Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Xinyi Commercial Center, Vieshow Cinemas, etc.
